Clubhouse design comes to life at River Islands Lakeview Club with a thoughtfully curated amenity center that blends modern farmhouse architecture with the fluid beauty of the surrounding California lakes. Inspired by water, movement, and connection, this Clubhouse design draws from cool blue hues, taupe wood tones, and honed stone finishes to create a modern yet cozy atmosphere. Voluminous ceilings and expansive glazing frame serene lake views, seamlessly inviting the outdoors in. Layered textures, large format tile, and custom details such as the double-sided fireplace, commissioned art installation, and tailored reception desk anchor the space with presence and warmth.

This Clubhouse design supports resident experience at every level. The Great Room offers cozy seating, a coffee bar, and a functional beverage bar that encourages daily gathering. Multi-purpose rooms flex for clubs, events, and celebrations, while the billiards lounge with shuffleboard and pool table creates space for relaxed connection. Outdoors, pickleball and bocce courts, a resort-style pool with lap lanes and spa, an event lawn with movie projection capabilities, and a sunset firepit cultivate active and social lifestyles. A full fitness center, aerobics studio, spa-like locker rooms, and dedicated dog park round out amenities that prioritize wellness, movement, and community. See a preview of the space in this project video.

Material selections reinforce the narrative of water and rivers, with blue feature tile at the Great Room bar and restroom vanities, custom carpet designs, etched acoustic wall panels in the fitness room, and tailored furnishings throughout. Warm woods balance cooler tones to create an inviting contrast, while commercial-rated finishes ensure durability for daily use. Ultimately, success for this Clubhouse design was defined by collaboration. Through sustained teamwork among client, consultants, trades, and our studio, the vision was brought to life with exceptional service and craftsmanship.
