Steamboat Springs, CO

Located at the base of Steamboat Mountain, Timber + Torch is strategically situated to capture the après ski/snowboard crowd. Originally built in the early 1970’s, this restaurant was in dire need of a fresh look. In this full renovation project, KTI created a space that speaks to Steamboat Springs and its rich history; incorporating a nod to the multitude of Olympians originating from there, to abstract signage relating to its geologic ranching history. Natural wood and metal detailing adorn walls, furnishings, millwork and ceiling elements. Multiple seating options and flexibility abound to foster an inviting and playful mountain-inspired atmosphere. Patrons can enjoy cocktails on the deck; or Steamboat’s version of dining al fresco by way of rolling up the doors and bringing the outdoors inside. This redesign has given new life to this beloved gathering spot for families and friends alike.
