Transforming an overly ornate traditional home into an open concept transitional farmhouse was the desire for this young family of 5. With a full gut renovation, we were able to achieve this goal by redesigning the overall architectural layout and knocking down a few walls in the process – all the while keeping the integrity of the home, but with a more current aesthetic and functionality. This project also included designing a custom wine tower in the dining room and an aperitif room off the kitchen – perfect for entertaining. The use of reclaimed wood, textural stone, oak flooring and a neutral color palette further made for a timeless design.
